The Golden Thread Alliance is a Multi-Academy Trust with eight incredible primary schools under its wing, each with its own unique character and history.
Our Trust was formed in January 2023 following the merger of The Galaxy Trust in Dartford and The Pathway Academy Trust in Gravesham.
Despite their unique characters, all our schools subscribe to The Golden Thread values of Respect, Equality, Courage, Integrity, Ambition, Kindness, and Responsibility.
These shared values are at the heart of what our Golden Thread really is: an invisible, yet incredibly strong thread that connects our schools, colleagues, families and pupils, binding us in the belief that we are as united as we are different.

It is a privilege to introduce myself as the CEO of The Golden Thread Alliance. Having watched this Trust grow since the outset in 2014, I am honoured to lead our community through this next chapter.
Our Trust was built on a powerful metaphor – the Golden Thread. This invisible bond connects our eight unique primary schools across Dartford and Gravesham, weaving together our different backgrounds with a single, unwavering commitment to our core values: Respect, Equality, Courage, Integrity, Ambition, Kindness, and Responsibility.
As I step into this role, my primary focus is continuity and excellence.
To our Parents and Carers: Your trust is our greatest asset. My commitment to you is that your child’s experience remains at the heart of every decision we make. We will continue to provide the nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environments where your children can truly thrive.
To our Colleagues: You are the driving force behind everything we achieve. Your hard work ensures that our shared values translate into real outcomes for our children. I look forward to working closely with you to foster a culture of excellence, where your growth and well-being are prioritised.
To Prospective Schools and Partners: Our strength lies in our collective identity. We remain an outward-facing Trust, eager to collaborate with those who share our vision of high-quality primary education, where every child is at the heart of every decision we make.
Now is a time for strengthening our foundations and looking forward with shared ambition. I am incredibly proud of the achievements of our pupils and colleagues, and I am excited to work alongside you all to ensure that the thread remains stronger than ever.
